The Vaultwitness software

• The dashboard server and the agents run on your own machines. Your backups, file names, check results and settings stay there.
• The software sends nothing to us — no telemetry, no usage statistics.
• Agents talk only to your own dashboard server, and update themselves from it.
• What leaves your network is only what you set up: alerts you send by email, Telegram or webhook go where you point them, and the license check sends your license key and a random ID of your installation.

License activation

When you activate — on the activation page or with the Activate button — we receive your license key and your installation ID. We check them with Lemon Squeezy, sign the activation file and send it back. We don't store them. Lemon Squeezy records the activation against your license.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. Your name, email, address and payment details go to them, not to us, under their privacy policy. We can see your orders in the Lemon Squeezy dashboard to help with support and refunds.

This website

This site has no analytics, no tracking and no cookies. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
